The interior of the new Kia Rio has also undergone major changes. First of all, it is worth noting a completely different steering wheel layout and a modernized audio system design.

In general, the car's interior looks very stylish and modern. The designers managed to combine all this with unobtrusive laconicism and notes of minimalism.

Hidden right under the steering wheel is a small instrument panel, which includes an analog speedometer and tachometer.

It is worth noting that in top-end configurations, the steering wheel is multifunctional. But, for an additional fee, it can be installed in the basic version.

I was pleasantly surprised by the developers’ decision to equip the interior with red lighting, which makes the atmosphere in the cabin more sporty.

The front row of seats can be called quite ergonomic. Also, the driver and passenger can take advantage of lateral supports, although they are not very comfortable. On back row There is a “sofa” that can comfortably accommodate three passengers.

The initial capacity of the trunk is 500 liters, but if you fold the rear bench, it increases to 650 liters.

The role of the older one is played by a 1.6-liter unit, which is capable of producing 123 “horses”. Acceleration time from zero to hundreds - 10.2 s, maximum speed– 195 km/h.

Recent test drives have shown that the engines are quite economical, but still not enough diesel engine. The developers promise to fix this in the future.
