Citroen GS Birotor

Citroen and NSU join forces to advance technology rotary engine Wankel in the late 60s of the last century. In 1974, Citroen introduced a small GS model with rotary power plant. But frequent problems from power unit led to a curtailment of production. While NSU was promoting its models with this engine, the French quickly realized their mistake and stopped the production of the GS Birotor. A total of 847 copies were produced, most of which were bought back by the manufacturer.

Leyland Force 7

There was once a car like the Leyland P76. This sedan was sold exclusively in the Australian and New Zealand market for three years. Is this still not enough to consider it an exclusive? Instead of using the well-known wood body technology, fiberglass material was used on the Morgan Plus Four chassis. The car cost twice as much as the Jaguar XKE, and in those days the company did not yet have such a cult status as it does today. For five years of production, only 26 copies were produced.

Rover SD1 Estate

This car is a representative of that period of European automotive culture, when the leadership automotive companies moved on models that until recently were prototypes. This idea hasn't taken off much, but it seems only in the UK that one would come across a test car on a morning commute.
