The interior of the Kodiak GT is generally standard, but the plump steering wheel with a truncated rim and chairs with integrated headrests are borrowed from the European “charged” one, although instead of suede upholstery it is leather (two-color to order). The virtual instrument cluster is included in basic equipment as well as LED headlights.

In terms of powertrains, the Kodiaq GT is no different from the usual. The newcomer is equipped with a 2.0 TSI turbo engine in 186 and 220 hp versions. The gearbox is a seven-speed DSG robot with wet clutches, the drive is front or full (only with a 220-horsepower engine).

In the Celestial Empire market, the "docked" crossover Skoda Kodiaq GT will appear before the end of the year. It will be produced here, at the Shanghai Volkswagen joint venture. There is no word yet on the release of the GT version in other markets, although this decision may subsequently change.
