They are also produced in the Nivovsky size 215/65/16, they cost the same as Korda, but there are more pluses here - the tires are soft, comfortable, you can ride even in winter. Dirt is also kneaded perfectly (tread pattern is one to one with Cords). Well, the most important plus is that the tires are lighter than Kordov, and therefore, if you cut the arches, you can put a super cool size 235/75/R15 on the Niva, but here you will already need to buy a set of 15″ wheels. Our task is to pick up wheels of 16 diameters.

Well, that's probably all, comrades)) I didn't find anything more worthy in size 215/65/16. I had to play with the width and profile and managed to find a few more normal Nivovsky options.

The tire is narrower, the profile is bigger. For SUVs in general - the larger the profile - the better. The increase in clearance compared to the 215th is only 0.3 cm. In fact, it’s the same thing.

In terms of the number of tires installed on the Niva, Kama Flame is the leader in this size (pictured). There is no question - many consider it optimal, but the tread pattern is not MT, but only AT, and you can only drive on such “slippers” on weak off-road. The tires are declared as winter tires and I saw a lot of Niv on such tires in winter, but here you also need to have a sober head and drive carefully in winter, the driver must have some skills to drive on such tires in winter.

An even narrower tire with an even higher profile. The increase in clearance compared to the 215th is decent - 1.6 cm. It is likely that it will cling to the overhangs, so that the minimum lift or cutting of the arches is at a minimum. These tires will excel in digging through the dirt to get to the hard ground. This alone suggests that in the mud Dried apricots are an excellent choice. It is most likely unrealistic to find Feds in this size)) At least I have not seen a single field on such rubber))

Also available in 29″ and for 16″ rims. Favorite sneakers drivers Chevrolet Niva and of course nivovodov. Toothy tread, excellent self-cleaning ability, flattens well on off-road. However, most often they put such slippers on 15″ wheels, so it will be difficult to find in the 16th size. Well, the price tag here is decent, and even taking into account the dollar exchange rate, atas in general.

This is with regard to summer and all-season tires. There is very little choice, and there is practically none in the size 205/70/R16 and 215/65/R16, all that is - I have listed above. Well, at least winter tires are decent in such sizes. However, with the summer - just a disaster.

The last sizes in the review are very unpopular, so you probably won't be able to find mud tires in these sizes. So you have two options - see below:

In general, the conclusions are drawn and I advised my friend, if he wants to ride the Niva in the summer in the places for which it was intended - to buy 15 ″ wheels, here the choice of excellent mud tires is simply huge. Well, or ride a Cordach or Contyre Expedition in the 16th size. I hope our research will be useful to you and you will make the right choice.

Of course, Niva 2121 has already become a classic of the Russian car industry. But this car is too early to write off. Even in our time, this car remains the best option price and quality combination for our road, or rather, off-road, conditions. This “mudovka”, which is not inferior to many foreign analogues, is ideal for a novice SUV. Quite suitable for winter: very soft in the cold and loves snow. Poorly “tolerates” ice and summer asphalt: on both surfaces it is almost uncontrollable. There is only one dimension — 235/75 R15 (about 29 inches), so either cut the arches (but without a lift), or make a minimal lift, but without interfering with the body.

Cordiant off road

A worthy version of the domestic "mudokhi". Suitable for use on asphalt and off-road. Flattens well in any swamp. It is an alternative to the Goodrichs at a price of about 4,000 rubles. Handles asphalt well. For such rubber, it makes sense to “lift” your Niva a little. Thanks to this, it will be possible to “shoe” the car already in the size 225/75 R16. Only due to this, the clearance will increase by almost 3 cm.

Hankook Dynapro MT RT03

Another successful "mudoha". It has won trust and respect among off-road fans. It will cost 4500 rubles in the dimension 235/75 R15. Such a size will not fit on a Niva without a 5 cm mini-lift.
The best option for those who do not often go to knead "shit". It wears out little on asphalt, it cleans well off-road. It floats a little on clay, but not much. Equipped with holes for studding. Very soft, fits great. In general, excellent M / T rubber, no worse than Goodrich, but cheaper.

Very durable. Damage to the upper layers does not affect the overall integrity. It can “blur” only on “plasticine” clay. Then the protector is completely clogged. Self-cleaning decently, because the tread is large enough. In general, Boris Fedorovich (as BF jeepers are affectionately called) is decent tires, but expensive. Therefore, you can always find a cheaper alternative. But if you do not want to save money, then Goodrich will be a good choice.

(28.9 inches), so Nivko will have to prepare - lift or cut the arches. very cool rubber for mud, the only negative is that it quickly sharpens on asphalt, if you operate 60/40 city / mud, then 40 thousand will be enough. It will not be enough, given that the rubber is not cheap.

Most often used on large SUVs, because the size range of most models starts from 29-31 inches. Nivovoda fans also put 31″ tires on themselves, having seriously remade the car before that. Extreme tires have a very large tread pattern, powerful lugs for leaving the rut, very soft and absolutely not designed for driving on the track.

Simex Extreme/Jungle Trekker

Under such an off-road, it is better to “pump” your Niva properly - here is an elevator and cutting arches, replacing pairs and multiple modifications to the car, there is no other way. In the dimension of 32 x 9.5 R15 will cost 12 thousand. Expensive, but for those who decide on such rubber, this is nothing, their life is off-road.
