Put on hand brake and support all wheels.
We remove the cap, which is located on the gearbox, and clean the breather and hole with a metal brush.
We check the oil level with a dipstick.

Drain the oil. The procedure will take 15-20 minutes.
Screw the drain plug back.
Pour the required amount of oil where the gearbox filler hole is located and tighten the dipstick.

Important! If the VAZ 2114 was produced before 2003 without a dipstick, you need to remove the oil drain plug located on the right side of the body.

Substitution rules

If you fill the car with the same oil as before, you don’t have to flush the engine.
Never mix different oils in the gearbox. Various characteristics oils can lead to undesirable consequences.
The engine should be flushed before replacing the oil with a new one, which is different from what was used before. To wash, you need to mix oil and kerosene in equal proportions. Pour the mixture into the box, start the engine and engage first gear. Wait 5 minutes. Stop the engine and drain the fluid.
