Proper straightening of the hood with your own hands. Secrets of the master: patching How to level dents

Dents on a car are known, perhaps, to every motorist. It would seem that this is serious, because you can simply drive the car to the service station and entrust everything to specialists. But you should also take into account the fact that you will have to leave the car for several days and pay a lot of money. Therefore, it makes sense to learn how to eliminate such defects on your own.

We remove the dent with our own hands

Types of dents

First you need to decide on the dent itself. It is customary to distinguish between such damage of the following types:

  • deep - dents with a depth of 10 mm, sometimes more. As a rule, such damage does not have a clear oval shape. In this case, it is impossible to eliminate the dent on your own;
  • shallow - the deflection of the metal is not more than 5 millimeters, the paintwork is not damaged. Such defects can be eliminated independently.

Body Diagnostics

Before proceeding with the repair of the car itself, you need to carefully inspect the body of the car. Do it better in good light - so all damage will be

Please note that if more than one dent is found on the surface of the car, start repair work follows from the smallest damage, gradually moving to the largest.

Also, before pulling, make sure that good condition paintwork. If the paint is badly damaged, straightening without painting will not work. In this case, the defect will have to be removed in the traditional way of straightening the car.

Straightening methods

There are several ways to remove mechanical damage on a car body:

  • through a set of levers;
  • magnet;
  • applicators;
  • heating followed by cooling.

Each of these methods has both its advantages and disadvantages.

Please note that it is impossible to perform such work on your own if:

  • the scale of deformation is large;
  • the car is very old;
  • damage is in the threshold area;
  • heavily damaged LKS.

In such cases, you should contact competent specialists.

Straightening with a magnet

Using this method, removing a dent from a car is the easiest. Please note that before starting the repair, you need to put a soft material under the magnet. This is necessary so that the surface of the car is not scratched during the leveling process.

The magnet must be directed from the edge of the dent to the center. At the same time, you need to pull the magnet towards you. If the dents on the car are shallow, then this way you can easily make repairs without painting.

Lever Method

The method of straightening the surface of a car without painting with the help of levers is used more often. But it should be noted that this process is much more complicated. Therefore, before straightening your car, it is better to practice on other surfaces.

First you need to purchase a set of special levers. On average, there are about 40 pieces. It looks something like this:

Levers for straightening a car

To start the repair, you need to provide free access to the place of damage. To do this, all third-party elements (skin, mirrors, headlights, handles) must be carefully dismantled.

Dent removal is carried out only with inside TS. To do this, you need to pick up a hook of optimal length and gently press on the place of the recess, gradually leveling the metal.

This technology without painting can also be used if classic straightening has already been used. It is contraindicated to use the method with hooks if the surface of the car has previously been puttied. In this case, this layer will simply fall off.

Leveling with applicator

The applicator method is used if straightening from the inside is not possible.

Before starting repairs, the surface of the machine must be thoroughly degreased. Further, rounded or square applicators are attached to the surface with glue (along the edges of the dent). The central part of the damage is leveled with a mini-lifter or a staple with a central screw. This must be done very carefully, as you can easily "drag" the dent.

It should be noted that this pulling method does not require large material costs and special skills. It's easy to do it yourself.

Pulling with applicator

No matter how insulting it may be, no one can do without at least a little “pokotsat” a car in a lifetime. Even professionals. Snow that fell from the eaves, not quite sober citizens who chose the "swallow" as a fulcrum, and their own sloppiness or oversight leave marks on the varnished sides of the car. For the most part, they have the character of a slight wrinkle, even the paint does not peel off.

Therefore, most owners are not particularly in a hurry to rush to the nearest tinsmith. In addition, the insignificance of damage encourages you to try to fix everything with your own hands. Let's talk about this and talk about how to fix a dent on a car with your own hands.

  • repair of dents on a car without painting is possible;
  • it is impossible to implement it completely without investments;
  • you will have to show angelic patience and devilish perseverance;
  • if everything works out for you, you can open your own workshop, you will not be left without customers.

Investments

At the stage of development, dent repair will require not too rich tools:

  • straightening hammer with shock-absorbing strikers - 300 rubles;
  • gas burner Super-Ego R355 - 1.8 thousand rubles;
  • portable gas cylinder - 100 rubles;
  • stainless steel trowel - 300 rubles;
  • hot glue gun - 600 rubles.

In general, your expenses will not exceed 3.5 thousand rubles. If luck inspires, then buy an inexpensive (3 thousand rubles) set of leveling tool Force F-911M1. You can work with it at a professional level and repair not only your car.

Material Features

Despite the fact that body straightening masters are popularly called "tinsmiths", they work with much thicker material. Thickness of body parts Soviet car industry was 0.9-1 mm, now the cunning Chinese put 0.55 mm, but on average it is 0.75 mm.

Dent on rear left fender

In order for such a material to succumb to manual bending, it must be heated at least a little. The paintwork can withstand temperatures up to 80 and even 90 degrees. To do this, you will need a burner from the list of tools. It is better than a building hair dryer in that it is possible to localize the heating zone. However, before starting work, it is necessary to practice on some car skeleton in order to determine the optimal flame intensity and exposure time. Otherwise, straightening dents with your own hands will smoothly flow into a full-fledged body repair or buying a new car.

A dent on a car is a place where the metal has undergone not only deformation, but has changed its thickness. It is smaller at the deepest point than at the edges. Sometimes so much so that the material breaks. Such cases are treated, but considerable professionalism is required. When correcting a defect, you need to drive the metal from the edges to the center. As a result of this, the direction of the deformation force will change to the opposite and the dent will straighten out.

Repair methods

Straightening dents is carried out not only from the inside, although this seems the most logical, but also from the outside. The technology of work largely depends on the area of damage and the location of its localization.

crackers

So, in the language of tinsmiths, dents of a large (up to several square decimeters) area are called, but small - no more than a centimeter - deep, with very gentle slopes. The metal in them almost did not change the thickness. They got their name because the straightening is accompanied by cotton.

The larger the area of \u200b\u200bthe cracker, the easier it is straightened. Although this is explained simply: the arm of the lever of force - the distance from the center of the dent to the edge - is large. Sometimes it is enough to press on it from the inside with the palm of your hand. Often it is a combined damage - at the point of application of force there is a hall, which will have to be straightened separately.

Removing small dents with an impact tool

Correcting from the inside is the main way to repair such dents. To do this, you will have to remove the lining of the ceiling or doors - the usual place for crackers to appear. If it does not lend itself to hand force, then, for example, a volleyball camera can be placed in the technological cavity. A pressure of a couple of atmospheres will be enough. Small - you can still touch the metal with your hand - warming up the edges will help speed up the process.

Medium dents

It is often not possible to straighten such a “byaka” from the inside. For example, on the wing, the cavity of which is blocked by spars. If it is gentle, without a break, then heating and punching through the trowel will help fix it.

  1. Heat the edges of the dent so that your hand feels hot to the touch.
  2. Apply the trowel, making sure that it lies flat and does not touch any part of the body relief with an edge. Tap the dent in a circle with light strokes.
  3. Constantly control the heating (cooling is no better than overheating), do not rush anywhere and persistently beat the dent in a narrowing spiral.

The construction trowel successfully replaces the professional trowel. Its handle is raised up, does not crawl on the body and does not interfere with the hammer. It should be made of stainless steel, and the lower, working surface should be polished so as not to scratch the paint. During operation, it is necessary to constantly wipe it with a cloth so that not the slightest speck remains on it, and degrease it.

Removal of dents on the surface of the body by heating

There is a very exotic straightening method based on the use of temperature contrast. For him, you need to prepare a balloon with carbon dioxide. These are used, for example, to charge airsoft guns.

  1. Heat the dent in a spiral from the edges to the center.
  2. Spray carbon dioxide on the same principle.
  3. As the frost melts, the metal straightens out, obeying the deformation forces arising from the temperature difference.

Alignment in this way may damage the paintwork. And the older the car, the higher the likelihood of this outcome.

small dents

Damage up to 1.5 centimeters in diameter can only be pulled out, since they are smaller than the hammer head and aiming along the edge is very problematic. Pulling is carried out with a bolt or screw with a cap of a suitable diameter and shape. It must be processed to the desired configuration on emery and polished.

The place of work is degreased (as well as the bolt head), after which the glue gun comes into play. After gluing the bolt, add glue also on top, for reliability. The carving will help to fix the semblance of a handle or eyelet. For them, the bolt stretches with everything that is at hand. But this must be done carefully, in several steps, constantly monitoring the process. The bolt may come off. Remove the adhesive with a solvent and repeat the process until the dent is straightened.

For such work, there is a professional tool - a set of polymer fungi of various sizes and shapes, as well as strikers. The striker consists of two parts - a kind of bolt, the lower part of which catches on the curly ledge of the fungus, and a massive bushing that slides along the stem. At the end of the striker there is a wide protrusion on which the sleeve hits.

Car bodywork is an art. The master must feel the material and be able to predict its behavior. Skill is formed by long hours of practice. However, don't be afraid to put your hands up. The value of owning such a skill will pay off all the costs. We advise you to initially practice on some car skeleton.

There are several ways to straighten dents, based on the use of various tools. At the same time, these works are carried out according to one principle, which consists in the fact that the body in the damaged area is subjected to physical impact. This article discusses the basic methods for leveling the car body.

Mechanical alignment from the inside

The use of this technology allows you to even out defects without painting. In this case, vacuum hoods and levers are used. Alignment of dents on the car body in this way is based on the pressure difference. The work consists in the fact that a lever of suitable size, that is, reaching the defect, is placed in the technological hole of the car body and pressed on it until the damaged area returns to its original state. The return of the material to its original state is usually accompanied by a click.

Pressure must be applied carefully to prevent the metal from bending in the opposite direction. If this happens, the area can be leveled with a fluoroplastic chipper.

If the dent is located close to the body opening, then pressure can be applied to it from the inside without using a lever. However, the car body is not always damaged near the technological holes, and it can be problematic to get close to the defect from the inside. In the absence of such an opportunity, the alignment of damage is carried out by one of the methods discussed below.

Fixing a dent with a magnet

It should be noted that this technology is suitable for straightening only small damage. During operation, the magnet is moved along the surface of the damaged area from the edges to the center of the dent, pulling it towards itself. Place a soft cloth under the magnet to prevent damage to the paintwork.

External alignment using adhesive technology

This method is also called vacuum, and the essence of this technology is to pull the dent with a piston fixed on the damaged area of the body with glue. However, it is also possible to use non-professional devices, represented by suction cups. The applicator is fixed with glue on the damaged area of the body. Upon completion of its drying, the central point of the dent is pulled out with a mini-lifter. The suction cup is used in the same way.

This method can correct the defect, but not eliminate it completely. In addition, it is not recommended to use this technology to level parts with cracks, since metal peeling is possible.

In general, the adhesive method of straightening dents is considered one of the simplest and fastest.

Correction of defect by thermal influence

The method under consideration involves the use of a building hair dryer and a can of compressed air. You will also need protective equipment in the form of goggles and gloves, since the work is carried out at temperatures from 300 to 650 ° C.

This technology is based on the desire of the metal to return to its original state. First, the damaged section of the car body is heated with a building hair dryer, and then cooled with a spray can (the temperature of the air emitted by it is -78 ° C). Such a temperature difference leads to the return of the metal to its original state.

In some cases, if the body has a large damage, this operation is carried out at several points. For a round dent, their choice is made along the radius, and for an oval dent, along the narrow side. If there are rigid elements in the defective area, the alignment begins with them. If the thermal effect does not allow to completely get rid of the damage, this method is combined with tapping with a mallet. At the same time, to protect the paintwork, the body at the site of the defect is covered with a soft rubberized material.

Percussion

This straightening method involves the use of rubber mallets of various sizes and hooks. The easiest way is to tap the damaged area on the reverse side of the defect. At the same time, a wooden block is applied from the outside so that the metal can be prevented from bending in the opposite direction.

If there is no access to the dent from the inside, then use hooks or screws. These tools are inserted into pre-drilled holes in the center of the defect and pulled out. Upon completion of the work, the holes are puttied or welded, then rubbed and painted.

In the absence of skills, it is advisable to try this method on some unnecessary part.

Upon completion of the percussion, the restored part or its fragment is polished. This method is usually used if the body has large dents.

Pops a Dent

This name is a specialized set of tools designed to level dents. It includes nozzles, a plastic bracket, glue, and repairs are carried out as follows:

  • The center of the dent is pre-degreased.
  • Then the glue is heated. To do this, the glue stick is inserted into the gun and connected to the electrical network.
  • Glue is applied to the rubber nozzle and glued in a circular motion clockwise to the center of the damage.
  • After 2-3 minutes, a bracket is installed on it.
  • Then, with the help of a lamb, it is wound onto the nozzle until the defect is straightened.
  • Upon completion of work, the device is not removed from the car body for 5 minutes.

Most drivers (especially beginners) periodically encounter unpleasant situations, such as difficult engine start, damage to the paintwork, dents when parking. To remove such a dent, the owner has to leave the car for a couple of days at the service station - needless to say, this is inconvenient. Today there is an opportunity not to contact specialists, as you can do the repair of dents without painting with your own hands. There is a photo of the process in our article. There are technologies available that even beginners can handle.

Often among the reasons for the appearance of such dents may be incorrect and inattentive parking. More often damage is left by hail, branches and icicles that fell on the car from above, pranks of children in the yard, and the like.

Do-it-yourself dent repair without painting is possible anywhere in the car - you can straighten out defects on the hood, trunk, doors or fenders. There are several conditions on which the success of the recovery operation depends. These are not too strong deformations, the integrity of the paintwork on the damaged area is preserved, the absence of stretched metal, the previous repairs were done without violating the technology.

How can dents be removed without the need for painting?

There are two ways, depending on the extent of the damage. So, small defects can be removed by heating. More severe deformities are corrected with special technology PDR. Though repair technologies differ, they are often used together and combined.

Straightening in each of these technologies is based on the property of the metal to remember its original shape. Automakers are doing their best to help their customers. For the production of body elements, soft and elastic metal is used, which makes it easy to restore its original shape even with serious damage to the metal. This greatly helps the car owner to do their own dent repair on the car without painting.

The first technology is based on sequential processes of heating and subsequent cooling of the damaged area. The second method implies the presence of special tools that allow you to act on the damaged element. In the case of the second technology, restoration work will be more labor-intensive and time-consuming.

Required Tool

To repair dents without painting with your own hands according to the first method, it will be enough to have an industrial construction or household hair dryer, compressed air cylinder or suction cup. Deep deformations using the PDR method will require special tools.

So, you need a lamp that will help you accurately identify the location of the damage. It will also help control the straightening process. In addition, the process cannot be completed without the so-called clubs, levers and hooks made of stainless steel.

For PDR, a set of special large-sized suction cups is purchased. The technology involves the use of adhesives. Special solutions for degreasing, a mini-lifter or a bridge bracket are used. Alcohol is used to remove the adhesive. You also need a special fluoroplastic pencil. This is something without which it is impossible to repair dents without painting with your own hands. This tool will help you quickly and inexpensively at home or garage conditions restore the appearance of the car. Any work is impossible without a hammer. In this case, you should prepare a rubber one. After straightening, it is desirable to polish the place - a polishing liquid is prepared.

Main technologies: work by heating

To determine what will be the repair of dents without painting with your own hands, what technology will be chosen, the degree of damage to the body is assessed.

If the defect is insignificant, then it is enough to heat the place of the defect so that the metal is noticeably hot. Next, the place is treated with an air balloon. Due to cooling, the metal will quickly return to its original form. You can use a special suction cup instead of an air cylinder.

For deeper deformations of body elements, PDR is used. This is the most affordable home repair.

PDR Benefits

This technology, which allows you to remove dents from the car body, has been successfully practiced since the 70s. Developed in the West. In our country, PDR is a novelty. The main advantage of this method is the time required for restoration work. Even serious dents a few centimeters deep are completely removed in one and a half to two hours of work. In this case, the car does not need to be painted or puttied. But such repairs are used most often.

The most interesting thing is that do-it-yourself dent repair without painting is much cheaper than restoration work in a service station. There, the shape of the metal is first restored, then puttied and painted. The body will remain in the native paint. This technology was appreciated by people involved in the resale of cars. It is profitable, fast and economical.

The essence of technology

So, from the inside of the damaged place, with the help of a microlift, they press on the damaged metal. As a result, the most maximally deformed section is retracted. Depending on the scale of deformations, repairs can be carried out both inside and outside. outside on the body.

Along with tools, a large set is also used. Supplies allowing for maximum efficiency in the restoration of the damaged area. These elements can be different widths and length. Due to the special shape, they penetrate where it is almost impossible to penetrate. If there is no access to damage, then glue technique is used. A special piston is attached to the place of damage, which levels the metal.

Stages of restoration work with levers

Do-it-yourself dent repair without painting at home is carried out in several main stages. So, preparatory stage includes preparation of everything necessary for the job. From this seemingly insignificant stage, in fact, a lot depends.

First of all, they put a lamp with which you can better examine the damaged area. Then start leveling. Through technological holes, hooks and levers are attached to the place of damage. If there are no holes, then they need to be made. You should first familiarize yourself with the function of hooks. Each of them is used for a separate damage site.

The stress that occurs on the metal is removed by fluoroplastic chippers. They tap on a tense place. Then everything is processed with 200 sandpaper. Together with the abrasive paste, you need to use a polishing machine.

We use a microlift

Here's how else you can do do-it-yourself dent repair for a car without painting. How larger size damage, the larger the piston is needed. Glue is applied to the latter. Next, the device is installed in the center of the place for 15 minutes. Then the piston is placed in the groove on the microlift and tightened with a nut. Next, gently press on the handle of the tool. The metal will stretch - the piston will shoot off, and the remaining glue is removed with alcohol. A bulge will remain, which is removed with a pencil and a hammer. This process may have to be repeated several times until complete alignment.

Using a welding torch

There is another way. This homemade paintless dent repair will require the use of a welding torch. There are also several main stages here. The first step is to determine the central point of the damaged area. This is easy to do - at this point the metal will spring.

Next, the center of damage is heated, but without the use of open fire. Reheat until crimson. Then direct forging is performed from the edges to the center, moving in a spiral. Next, the place cools down cold water. It is important not to rush, otherwise cracks may form from excessive cooling.

Where restoration work will not help?

Not all body damage can be repaired in this way. For example, PDR technology will not help with deep deformations or severely damaged paint. Here you have to putty. If there is no layer of paint, then it is pointless to do this repair of dents without painting with your own hands - it will not help.

Dent depth

Deformities can be corrected only when there is no severe damage.

Practice shows that the restoration technology is effective only with a damage depth of up to 4-5 cm. If the dents are more serious, then you will have to use something else or turn to professionals.

Where can not be repaired without painting?

This restoration technology is not used to repair thresholds, edges on the hood, roof pillars, parts of doors and trunk, damage to the panel formed by impacts and body distortions.

Is vacuum restoration possible at home?

Do-it-yourself dent repair without painting at home is possible only with the use of levers. A microlift for an ordinary car enthusiast is too expensive. It is most reasonable to contact specialized workshops for restoration. Of course, you can always find a tool and cheaper. But with this device it is difficult to achieve the same result as with a microlift. Will have to sand and paint.

Even the most careful drivers sometimes get into unpleasant situations. If you're pulling out of a grocery store parking lot in reverse, collided with a post, someone parked too close to your car and slammed the door on it, it does not change the fact that you have an unsightly dent as a result. Very often, repairs of such minor or more than minor damage are easily covered by the warranty, however, it costs more than you are willing to pay out of your own pocket. In many cases, it is possible to remove a dent without resorting to the help of an auto repairman.

For repairs, you can use improvised means, such as a regular hair dryer, a can of compressed air, a plunger, or suction cups. In this article, we will analyze 2 main ways body repair and minor damage.

Using a hair dryer to remove damage

Of course, with only a hair dryer and a few other tools at hand, you can’t hang a specialist sign at the entrance. body work, but by trying to repair it yourself, you can save an impressive amount of money. The principle is quite simple: the hair dryer produces heat, and at a certain temperature, the metal, as you know, becomes pliable. This means that metal, including metal body components, can be shaped if it is sufficiently heated.

Item 1 of 3: assessment of the nature of the damage

Obviously, repairing dents with a hair dryer on a car that has been in a serious accident is useless, but it makes sense in the case of small dents and indentations in certain areas of the car body. To determine whether a particular dent can be repaired in this way, it is first necessary to analyze its location.

Step 1: Analyzing the location of the dent. It is easy enough to remove dents on smooth surfaces such as the trunk or hood lid, roof, doors and fenders. It is much more difficult, but possible, to deal with dents in curved and embossed areas.

Step 2: Determine the size and depth of the dent. If the dent is three inches or larger in diameter and therefore shallow, and there are no obvious signs of paint damage, you will most likely be able to remove the dent without any problems.

In fact, there are two ways to remove dents with a hair dryer. In the first case, in combination with the heat produced by the hair dryer, compressed air, in the second - dry ice. Both of these dent repair methods are quite effective, but many people prefer the one that uses compressed air rather than dry ice. In addition, in some regions, it may be difficult to obtain dry ice. In any case, protective gloves, preferably insulating rubber-coated gloves, should be used when carrying out such work.

Item 2 of 3: compressed air

Necessary materials:

* Net soft cloth;

* Canister with compressed air;

* Heavy duty rubber coated insulating gloves.

Procedure:

1. Providing free access to the area with a dent. If possible, provide free access to the dent on both sides. For example, if the dent is on the hood cover, open the lid.

2. Heating up the area with the dent. Turn on the hair dryer, set it to medium power, and direct the jet of air at the dent, holding the hair dryer 5 to 7 inches away from it. Depending on the size of the dent, you can move the hair dryer back and forth, as well as up and down, to more thoroughly heat the area.

3. Determination of the degree of ductility of the metal. After two minutes of warming up the surface, put on gloves and check the degree of pliability of the metal by gently pressing on the inside of the dent or along it. outer edge. Feeling a certain softness of the metal, you can proceed to the next step of the procedure. Otherwise, additionally heat the surface for a minute and again check the degree of ductility of the metal.

4. Impact on the dent with a jet of compressed air. Shake the can of compressed air and direct the jet of air at the dent, holding the can upside down, remembering to put on heavy-duty protective gloves first. Continue to spray air into the dent until the metal straightens out (usually 30-50 seconds is sufficient).

5. Cleaning. Using a clean, soft cloth, gently wipe any remaining liquid from the treated surface.

Item 3 of 3: dry ice

Necessary materials:

* Aluminium foil;

* Dry ice pack;

* Heavy duty insulating rubber coated gloves;

* Insulating tape.

Step 1: heating the area with a dent. As in the previous procedure, it is desirable to access the dent from both sides and heat the dent area with a hair dryer until the metal can be reshaped.

Step 2: placing aluminum foil over the dent. Cover the dent with a piece of aluminum foil, securing it around the corners with duct tape. This will prevent damage to the paintwork from dry ice.

Step 3: use of dry ice. Protecting your hands with heavy-duty gloves, apply a pack of dry ice and run it over the aluminum foil until you hear the characteristic pop. This step usually takes less than one minute.

Step 4: cleaning. Remove aluminum foil and discard.

Many people understand the purpose of using a hair dryer is to soften the metal in the area of the dent to straighten it out, but some do not immediately understand how compressed air or dry ice affects the metal. Both of these products are very low temperature, therefore, after heating the metal with a hair dryer and, accordingly, its expansion under the influence of heat, a sharp decrease in temperature causes the metal to shrink and acquire its original shape.

* Recommendation. If, as a result of using one of the repair methods described, the dent has become significantly smaller, but the surface has not become completely even, you can repeat the procedure. Wait at least one day before repeating this procedure. This is because the sudden temperature fluctuations that the dented area is exposed to can cause damage to the vehicle's paintwork.

Using a suction cup or plunger

The technology of this method is very simple and it does not make sense to consider it thoroughly. Using a suction cup, you can quickly and easily remove a dent without painting the car.

To repair a damaged area, you may need:

Plunger or suction cup.

Detergent for surface cleaning.

LDS or bright flashlight.

Gloves.

It is better to carry out the procedure in a bright room so that the metal bending area is clearly visible without additional equipment. If this is not possible, then you can use a bright flashlight. When lighting irregularities on the body, roughnesses visible to any eye will be visible.

Procedure:

1. Thoroughly clean the damaged area of the body from dust and dirt. Wash the part and dry the dent stain well.

2. Fasten the plunger in place of the dent. For better contact with metal, it is necessary to use a suction cup made of soft rubber and preferably at warm temperatures.

3. With a vigorous movement, pull the plunger towards you. It is important to calculate the force that is commensurate with pulling the dent. If the force is large, an external “bubble” may form on the body, which will already be much more difficult to remove.

4. If the first time, it was not possible to completely stretch the concavity, the procedure can be repeated until the desired result is achieved.

* This method is very suitable for removing small dents, with even stretching of the metal, preferably in a round shape. The use of household suction cups approaches this method in the same way as a plunger. It will be important to take into account the ratio of the diameter of the area of the suction cup to the area of damage, these surfaces should be as proportional as possible.
