The current 1.0 EcoBoost turbo three will become the base, but the number of boost options will increase from two to three (100, 125 and 139 hp). Still in the program and petrol turbo engines of 1.5 and 2.0 liters. The only remaining diesel engine may be the 1.5 TDCi engine (now available in 95, 105 and 120 hp versions), and the two-liter engine will most likely be installed only on the "charged" version of the ST. In addition, the all-electric Focus will remain in the range.

However, these calculations are not very important for us: in Russia, the motors will most likely be completely different. For example, now our Focuses have neither three-cylinder turbo engines nor diesel engines. The main engine is a petrol engine in three forcing options (85, 105 and 125 hp), and the most powerful is a 1.5 turbo four (150 hp) imported from Romania.

In the spy photo of the interior, you can see that the shape of the front panel has become much more concise and resembles the new Fiesta. This should add room in the cabin: the massive panel makes the current Focus feel cramped.
