Although the car is large, there are only five seats, so there will be enough space for each passenger to enjoy a comfortable ride over any distance. They will get off with either leather or fabrics, depending on the configuration. Also, the seats are complemented by all sorts of equipment to increase the level of comfort. In the front you can find heating, many electrical adjustments, excellent lateral support and comfortable head restraints. The rear three-seater sofa boasts heated seats, adjustable backrest, armrest with holes for glasses and its own climate system in a rich package.

The European engine range will be slightly reduced: the initial aspirated 1.6 with 85 hp will disappear from it. The current 1.0 EcoBoost turbo three will become the base, but the number of boost options will increase from two to three (100, 125 and 139 hp). Still in the program and petrol turbo engines of 1.5 and 2.0 liters. The only remaining diesel engine may be the 1.5 TDCi engine (now available in 95, 105 and 120 hp versions), and the two-liter engine will most likely be installed only on the "charged" version of the ST. In addition, the all-electric Focus will remain in the range.

However, these calculations are not very important for us: in Russia, the motors will most likely be completely different. For example, now our Focuses have neither three-cylinder turbo engines nor diesel engines. The main engine is a petrol engine in three forcing options (85, 105 and 125 hp), and the most powerful is a 1.5 turbo four (150 hp) imported from Romania.

In the spy photo of the interior, you can see that the shape of the front panel has become much more concise and resembles the new Fiesta. This should add room in the cabin: the massive panel makes the current Focus feel cramped. Autocar journalists cite the words of one of the Ford designers, who admitted that with the front panel of the “third” Focus and the sixth generation Fiesta, they went too far. The automatic transmission selector, familiar to many, was replaced with a washer. You may have to get used to this decision, but it looks very stylish and organic.
